Being too quick to discipline...
Are parents too quick to resort to disciplining their child? Just read this post from Mr Brown and a little part of me just tingles.
I'll not furbish you with the details, but I do hope that parents out there would be more patient with their children and not resort to such forms of discipline. Give the kid a chance. Regardless of whether he/she is special or not (as proposed by Mr Brown), it doesn't serve the child any good. The child may just grow up resenting his parents. Worst yet, he/she might think that being 'angry' and 'violent' is the way to get things going...
Bottom line: disciplining with coporal punishment serves no one, nurturing does.
