Movie, Moods and MM
And so I struggled to stay awake for The DaVinci Code, which seems to be the pattern for the past few movies that I watched. Maybe I'm getting old, or I haven't been getting enough shut eye for the week. It's either that or I've lost my mojo, which is a scary thought since I'm still at the tender age of... (not going to let you guys in on this one).
DVC certainly didn't live up to the pre-release hype in my opinion, although I must admit that reading the book before hand did seem to be a cause. What bothers me is the Director's (Ron Howard) decision to make it seem that there is indeed a living descendent of Christ. Compare that to the book, and you would realise that the novel never did insinuate that but rather left it to the imagination of the reader. Film vs Book... I'll pick Book...
On another note, I know that I've been moody the whole of yesterday. I'm lacking sleep, and I guess the release of exam results are getting to me. I'm sorry if any of this unintended moodiness rubbed off anyone, especially Ling.
And to entertain all those out there... MM!
