Friendships...
Came back from Thailand on Thursday, and must I say that it was just awesome? We ate so damn much exotic food that I was just getting sick of it (for those who know me, this is vastly impossible in the normal sense). But I did!
And what really touched me is the warmth that I experienced with Aunty Phrapahiporn and Ploy and family whom we met up in the Bkk. Which brings me to question this whole thing about friendships. Friendships that have entirely no pretense, no bull, just sincerity. And I think friendships are just that.
Recently I had a bust in with someone whom I thought was a friend. When things were going rough, I was there, and I seriously thought at that time (note: seriously thought) that he had the makings of a great friend. But when push came to shove, this supposedly friend of mine couldn't stand up and be counted. Lies and even more lies followed by accusations. Do I really need that?
I think friends these day lack just that: no pretense, no bull, just sincerity. And I'm glad that I found them in Tommy and Jophia... NO BULL!
So here... Thank you both for making our trip to Thailand an enjoyable one. One that was full of laughters, full of joy, and full of love...
